A life remembered
Mrs. Sylvia Lindsay (née Forbes), aged 68, of Anchovy, St. James, passed peacefully on the date above, surrounded by her loving family.
Born and raised in St. James, Sylvia was a devoted member of Half Way Tree Methodist for over 47 years. She worked as a police officer and was well known throughout the community for her generosity, quiet strength, and unwavering faith.
She is survived by her children Errol, Olive, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends across Jamaica and the diaspora.

Service & interment
- ✦Funeral service for the late Sylvia will be held at Lucea Parish Church, Anchovy, St. James at 10:30 AM.
- ✦Interment follows at the family plot.
- ✦The family kindly requests that mourners wear white or light colours.
- ✦No flowers by request — donations may be made to the St. James Infirmary.
