Mr. Lascelles Edwards, aged 78, of Brown's Town, St. Ann, passed peacefully on the date above, surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in St. Ann, Lascelles was a devoted member of Kingston Parish Church for over 15 years. He worked as a civil servant and was well known throughout the community for his generosity, quiet strength, and unwavering faith. He is survived by his children Queenie, Basil, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends across Jamaica and the diaspora. "Weep not for me, for I am at peace."

Funeral Arrangements

Funeral service for the late Lascelles will be held at William Knibb Memorial Baptist Church, Brown's Town, St. Ann at 3:00 PM. Interment follows at the family plot. The family kindly requests that mourners wear white or light colours. No flowers by request — donations may be made to the St. Ann Infirmary.
